Jeremy Carlson, graduate of Utah State University Huntsman School of Business, started Crispy Cones on the side of a road in a canopy tent. Their mission is to create unforgettable experiences through freshly baked gourmet ice cream cones. Jeremy and his wife Kaitlyn have since grown to two corporate owned locations in Utah and Idaho. Crispy Cones is franchising nationwide and has sold 11 stores that will be opening in phases throughout Utah and Arizona. The couple appeared on the hit ABC show Shark Tank. Together, they went into the tank hoping to partner with THE Barbara Corcoran, and they successfully did just that! They are excited to grow their brand nationwide as they continue to revolutionize the Soft Serve Cone!
Jeremy and Kaitlyn met at the beginning of Crispy Cones’ journey when he hired her to work for him as their social media manager. Kaitlyn is from Star Valley, Wyoming and graduated from BYU-Idaho with a bachelors in Public Relations. While in college, she ran a successful wedding photography business for 6 years which gave her experience that Jeremy wanted to have on his team.
The couple quickly became best friends which led to marriage in December of 2020. Since then, Jeremy and Kaitlyn have grown Crispy Cones to 28 locations across the United States and have appeared on the hit television show, Shark Tank where they partnered with business icon, Barbara Corcoran! The Carlson’s currently reside in Saint Anthony, Idaho with their daughter, Macie, and their dog, Penny.
